Last GDC 2013, 24 Caret Games co-founder, Matt Gilgenbach shared his experience on how his Obsessive-Compulsive behavior had put the development team of Retro/Grade (a PC rhythm reverse-shooter)  to four years of crunch-heavy development process. One of the useful insights that was given here was to consider the extra time spent on features, to debate if they increase sales or at least impact the player’s experience.
